Save Me A Saturday Night, Neil Diamond - 12 Songs (2005) - 12. We, а также рингтоны на звонок и все новые треки.
12 Songs is the twenty-sixth studio album by Neil Diamond, released in 2005. It was his first studio album since 2001's Three Chord Opera. It was produced by Rick Rubin. The working title for the album was self-titled. The original pressing of the album was copy-protected using Sony's controversial XCP technology. Initial work on the album began after Diamond had concluded his tour behind Three Chord Opera in 2002
Calling 12 Songs Neil Diamond's best album in three decades may be a little misleading: truth be told, it doesn't have much competition in his discography. While Diamond never stopped making albums, he did seem progressively less interested in recording sometime after the Robbie Robertson-produced 1976 album Beautiful Noise. Following that weird, ambitious album, he pursued a slicker, streamlined course and started writing less original material.

Rubin's masterful approach is to let Neil Diamond do what Neil Diamond does best, and that is to strap on a loose guitar and let those teflon-ravaged vocals ride over it. Some rides, of course, are smoother than others-Brian Wilson's guest spot on bonus track "Delirious Love" is so melodic and harmony-rich it ought to have sails attached, while "What's It Gonna Be" sounds like something snatched in a pre-dawn lark from a Leonard Cohen disc.
But if 12 Songs does occasionally come across as slightly affected in its intent and presentation, it also is inarguably Neil Diamond's best set of songs in a long, long time. Neil Diamond, 12 Songs. But with 12 Songs - there are actually 14 - he's turned from flat-out performer to subtle songwriter. Stripped of kitsch, he sighs and gently roars to the sound of his own acoustic guitar. Few can put more feeling into a word than Diamond, but he's more poignant than ever on the easy folk of Oh Mary and tear- sodden goodbye of Evermore. We sounds like a great lost Monkees song. Spiritual, lovelorn and vulnerable, this is the album Diamond has deserved for decades.
