The Score, film score.

Howard Shore delivers another great soundtrack that sounds good even outside of the film. This score, The Score, is based on a 6 note dominant theme that you actually do get a little tired of hearing because it is way overplayed. The theme is good by all means, just heard a bit too much. The music is played by a 65 piece orchestra, along with solo jazz musicians, such as bass, muted trumpet, vibes, guitar, piano, and drums.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the official music for the 2010 film Eclipse, released on June 8, 2010. The soundtrack was once again co-produced by Alexandra Patsavas, the music supervisor for the previous two films. The track list for the album was revealed in a special MySpace revelation on May 12, 2010. The third soundtrack in the The Twilight Saga series, the album debuted at number two on the . Billboard 200 albums chart with sales of 146,000 copies.

Howard Shore's epic soundtrack kicks off with a reflective piece that harks back to the original Lord Of The Rings movies where Frodo is played by Elijah Wood, who makes a return appearance in The Hobbit, too. 2. Old Friends. Sir Ian McKellen also reprises his role from the original Lord of the Rings trilogy, as Gandalf the Grey. Here, he and his old friend Bilbo Baggins are honoured in this theme. 3. An Unexpected Party.

Although the Canadian synth-pop band performed the score, composer Howard Shore-the man responsible for the evocative music of The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, among others-wrote the moody instrumentals; in addition, he co-wrote three new Metric tunes on the soundtrack with the band. Plus, a bewitching trip-hop song from Somali musician K’Naan is even sandwiched near the end of the album. Metric’s Cosmopolis originals are very much in line with the apocalyptic, lost-in-space vibe and ession bent of their latest album, Synthetica. Long To Live is haunted-mansion synth-pop.
