Solipsist is the debut studio album by Bay Area technical death metal band The Zenith Passage. It was released via Unique Leader Records on April 15, 2016. It is the band's first release for Unique Leader Records, with whom they signed in 2013. The album focuses on the concept of solipsism. The album features a guest vocal appearance by Fallujah’s Alex Hofmann, and guitar solo by Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless).

Kestrels, out of Nova Scotia, offer a stop-gap between full-lengths with the four-track EP, The Solipsist, which confirms the youthful fire in the group's sound. After a quiet fade in, the boys unleash "The Light", a driving power-pop number with the brightness of surf rock and the lean edge of something put together in the basement. There is a lot of promise in these songs, and a feeling like Kestrels is moving forward as a band, but as a stand-alone release The Solopsist's wandering sound is more often puzzling than it is compelling. 5. We Must Pay Attention to the Powerful Political Force of Conspiracy Theories.
