Museum Mouth will release Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig, their aptly named fourth full-length album, on April 29 via Rory Records – Max Bemis of Say Anything’s imprint within Equal Vision Records. On Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig Kuehn and his bandmates, guitarist Graham High and bassist Kory Urban, explore the overwhelming emotions (ranging from nostalgia to trauma, with a splash of self-realization) that come from a move back to one’s hometown after years away, and re-exploring small town life as an adult. To date, Museum Mouth has released three full-length albums: Alex I Am Nothing (2014), Sexy But Not Happy (2012) and Tears In My Beer (2010), and two EPs: U R WHO U LET DIE (2012), and I Am The Idiot Of The Jungle (2010).

Is a Real Boy album and the unrequited love stories of Alex, I Am Nothing, by his friends in the North Carolina punk band Museum Mouth. Oliver imagines an epilogue to the rock star paranoia o. s a Real Boy as it catalogs the future of drugs, nostalgia, and fear of letting go at the end of the protagonist’s time in the spotlight. But mostly, she is a walking mission statement for confidence; expect nothing less from her forthcoming album.

Museum Mouth - Alex I Am Nothing, released by Self Aware Records in 2014 pressed on aqua blue marble. This album is great! Fuzzy emo/punk for fans of Joyce Manor, Snowing, You Blew It!, or Dowsing.
