House of Hope is the second album by American singer/songwriter Toni Childs, released in June 1991. It was Childs' second and final album for the A&M label. The album's title track, "House of Hope", was included in the 1991 film Thelma and Louise, and appeared on the film's soundtrack album. Hope Against Hope is the 1988 debut studio album by Band of Susans, released in 1988 on Blast First. The CD version includes their debut EP Blessing and Curse, which contains "Sometimes" and "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" Contents.

But Chas Sandford is mainly known in AOR circles for his cooperation with John Waite co-writing the timeless classic hit 'Missing You'. By 1982, Sandford got the opportunity to record his solo debut LP "Parallax View". The album included songs that were soon covered by Waite on his solo debut, Sammy Hagar, Rick Springfield and Sheila B. Devotion. The vinyl ends with one of the best tracks, the AOR midtempo "Hope Against Hope", decorated with nice keyboards and a great refrain.
