The Dogs D'Amour are a hard rock band formed in 1983 in London, England. Over the years the band has had various line-ups, the only constant being vocalist Tyla. Their music has been described as a mixture of the Rolling Stones, the Faces and glam punk. Their 1989 release, A Graveyard of Empty Bottles, reached on the UK Albums Chart while the single "Satellite Kid" reached on the UK Singles Chart.

Dogs D'Amour peddle a vintage of intelligent glam that was later found in the Wildhearts. This is whiskey soaked dirty blues at its best with all the passion and grime to make it believable. Tyla, like Ginger, is a fairly prolific songwriter who releases generally good to excellent material under various guises. Produced by Ric Browde this album kinda reflects the Dogs' state back in 1990 - they had been touring constantly for years, messing with various substances, trying not to mess with various substances (not very successfully though), been mistreated by their record company and had probably experienced a couple of heartbreaks along the way. They were the 'Victims Of Success'. But even though the Dogs were getting tired they managed to produce a great album!
