All things are possible with You by my side, all things are possible with You to be my guide".
All Things Are Possible (Dan Peek album). Redirected from All Things Are Possible (Dan Peek song)). All Things Are Possible is the solo debut album by Dan Peek after his departure from the popular soft rock band America. The album was released in 1979 and was a hit on contemporary Christian music radio stations. It was released by Pat Boone's label Lamb & Lion Records and was produced by Chris Christian, who also helped with the songwriting and contributed acoustic guitar and backing vocals on the album.
All Things Are Possible is the debut single by former America member Dan Peek, from the album of the same name, All Things Are Possible. Released in 1979 it was a No. 1 hit on contemporary Christian music stations (staying at the top of the charts for 13 weeks), as well as reaching the mainstream Pop and Adult Contemporary charts, making it one of the first, if not the first CCM crossover hit. The song was written by Peek and Chris Christian, who also produced the single

Peek shows that his gift for writing radio-friendly material remains intact with All Things Are Possible and Ready For Love. His old band mates Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell join him on harmonies for the America-esque Love Was Just Another Word. The closing track I Have to Say Goodbye makes it clear that Peek has moved on from his secular rock-star days. Released in 1978 by the Christian label Lamb & Lion, Dan Peek’s first post-America album celebrated his newly found faith in a batch of bright, smoothly performed songs. All Things Are Possible isn’t a radical departure from the singer/songwriter’s work with his old group: the melodies are buoyant, the lyrics are warm and a bit playful and the vocal harmonies recall the sweetness of classic Southern California pop.
Dan Peek (born 1 November 1950, Panama City, Florida; died 24 July 2011, Farmington, Missouri) was a member of the rock band America from 1970 to 1977, together with Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell. He contributed lead and backing vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, and harmonica to their recordings during his tenure in the band. Later he found success as a pioneering artist in the emerging Christian pop music genre. Peek left America shortly after the February 1977 release of the Harbor album.
All Things Are Possible is the solo debut album by Dan Peek after his departure from the popular soft rock band America. Peek parted ways with America in 1977 shortly after release of the Harbor album . Orange Coast Magazine Nov 1979 p71 "His album All Things are possible is achieving great success as a religious-to-adult contemporary crossover hit".
All Things Are Possible was originally released on the Christian label Lamb & Lion Records, after Dan Peek left the safety of hit group America to become a religious artist. Here's the problem with this sweet and well-constructed album of pop songs - it seems to lack sincerity in its aim for the mass market. Peek appears with open shirt on the front and back covers, a light blue scarf around his neck over the deep-blue mountainous terrain. The imagery looks better suited to the television program Queer as Folk than a Christian album
