Nowadays, Marduk is a very well-known band within the black metal genre. Chances are they're one of the names that comes up when someone is discussing the more entry level stuff to help get people started in listening to black metal. This album, Dark Endless, was their debut full-length, released in the year 1992. In their earlier days, Marduk played a little bit of a different style than their known for today.

Marduk is an excellent band. Dark Endless" is a bad album. In this sense the album may be compared with Darkthrone’s Soulside Journey, with both albums being death metal beginnings in the careers of two well-known black metal bands. Dark Endless" is the first full-length from Swedish Black Metal band Marduk. This is the most unique album in their entire catalog, and it is also one of their best. I first discovered Marduk through "Opus Nocturne", several years ago.

1992 album for the Swedish dark metal act. Eight tracks. I bet any fan of Darkthrone would like this album. When We are Gathered, Nightwing, Opus Nocturne) any hardcore fan of Marduk should definitely pick this up. The best song on this album is "Still Dead (Here's No Peace)".
