Promise Everything is the third studio album by British rock band Basement. The band began recording with producer Sam Pura in April 2015. The album was released on 29 January 2016 through Run for Cover. Before the release of their second album Colourmeinkindness (2012), Basement announced a hiatus because of personal commitments.

Basement became the band that they were supposed to be. With their newest effort Promise Everything, a self-reflective, self-aware, record that shows youth through a clouded telescope, looking backwards, taking every aspect that made their previous records so well, and became aware they couldn’t do that again.

In 2012, despite a growing fan base that found them touring the States that year in support of their sophomore album, Colourmeinkindness, Basement announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus. By the end of 2013, however, there was enough of a ground swell of support to bring the band out from hiding, resulting in their well-received 2014 EP Further Sky. Resuscitated from the dead with more energy than ever, Basement are in perfect form for their third full-length, 2016's power-packed Promise Everything.
