For some unknown reason, Lotus Omega somehow always menaged to slip under everybody's radar. It seems like the whole scene has been overlooking them ever since the demise of the legendary Crop Circles project, where they collaborated with the fellow italian quartet, Etnica. Which is very unjust, since their debut album, "Recycle Bin", contains some of the most hard, pumping, bass heavy, demented psy trance music I have ever heard.

Title: Recycle Bin. Label: Zillion Mental Anarchie. Style: Psychedelic Trance. 1. Mastermind (7:48). 2. Kuru Kuru (11:17). 4. Flower Of Life (9:00). 5. Beauty And The Beast (9:11). Lotus Omega presents us the new album. Contains 7 tracks of psytrance (hard stuff). Categories: Psychedelic Trance. Track listing: 01. 07'49" Mastermind. 02. 11'18" Kuru Kuru. The debut album of Lotus Omega and it's the type of noisy crap you would expect in the year 2000. This is like breaking up with a chick and later that night seeing on the news she robbed a 7-11 and took hostages. Was the b tch always this crazy? Did they all of a sudden become allergic to melodies? Maybe I'm playing it at the wrong speed. that's just a blatant f ck you to everyone. The first two tracks seemed like months of my life I'll never get back.

For some unknown reason, Lotus Omega somehow always menaged to slip under everybody's radar. It seems like the whole scene has been overlooking them ever since the demise of the legendary Crop Circles project, where they collaborated with the fellow italian quartet, Etnica. I always felt like Lotus Omega was swept under the rug for an unknown reason, and left there to be forgotten... Which is very unjust, since their debut album, "Recycle Bin", contains some of the most hard, pumping, bass heavy, demented psy trance music I have ever heard. Now, anno 2007, it may not come across as powerful, fist-in-the-air, state of the art party rocking stuff, but I can perfectly recall hearing this album years back and it sure shook my world! I mean: WOW! The first six tracks are all dance floor devestators of the highest order, while the seventh track is a well deserved downtempo number. Considering this was made seven years ago, one must keep in mind that there wasn't much else sounding quite like this. This is as good of an example of a brutal clash between psychedelic and hard as any other I've heard since! All in all, a classic it is not. A well worth addition to your collection, oh yeah! If you are familiar with tracks such as Waldorf Salad or 100% Revital Free, then "Recycle Bin" offers more of the same: no holds barrel, uncompromising and wicked psychedelia for those who are willing to cope with it.

Hiya Maroko hope this reply finds u well. srry its 3 years late but i have been in the internet circa of psytrance for just over a year now and must say its been quite a ride. i purrchased this album as it came out in japan 2000 while being invaded monthly by Etnica Live and must say it was an alien intrusion. but as you say, i was about the only one in my group who preferred this kind high tension menacing sound that i often got left in the dark. i have been listenin to the goa sound since it started up in the mid 90s and i used to live in california back then.. i clearly did not know what i was gettin myself into. i wasnt crazy nuff to venture across the planet as into Goa itself or the infamous Africa 2000 hype so i never was able to witness the Crop Circle/Pleiadian supremacy as the Italian mafia clearly dissolved into their own artistic drug-launderin schemes. i just spent hours scouring the net for rare Lotus Omega tracks and really arent any.. and if there ever was a problem it was naming themselves after a designer race-car.. its like Etnica callin their next album Ferrari Rossa which is quite likely indeed. tho even on this label ZMA which i faithfully bought many releases after the Bin Lotus only to be disappointed into yet another label doing their 'intelligent psy minimal' business transfer which ended up in loopy digital queefs.. as SestoSento put it "pussyfart!" problem with alot of 2000 releases is the grade of sound tho.. its a total different trigger of sound they deal with especially with their hardware and instruments.. but just like anything that becomes an antique there will be ppl on the search for the original sound of analog keyboards and the such.. much of which you will find here in this album. by the time Quantum Rabbit was released i must say i was strayin down this dark path with Neuromotor, who was label manager of Mechanic Sounds.. whom over the years just started mashin out the first line of really trashy darkpsy along with fellow artist HyperFreq it was quite depressin comparing it to that Neurodamage debut album.. by this time i was more into the album cover artwork of Nagual if anything. i think it just became psytrance u just need to be utterly plastered out of ur mind to understand.. and just hear your mind destroying itself. tho we live in these techno lotus times.. where just a few years ago seems like history.. im sure Lotus Omega are still around lurkin in the shadows.. eatin vegan cuisine like most hardcore trancers do?? and havin a great time.. cuz thats what they were all about. anyways, srry that dragged on and hope this finds u in good spirits.. feel free to post me a reply any time. cheerz, Ziro Japan btw kuru-kuru is most likely japanese and it means to go dizzy spinning in circles 回_回
