Zen Arcade is the second studio album by American rock band Hüsker Dü, released in July 1984 on SST Records. Originally released as a double album on two vinyl LPs, Zen Arcade tells the story of a young boy who runs away from an unfulfilling home life, only to find the world outside is even worse. The album incorporates elements of jazz, psychedelia, folk, and pop, and also features piano interludes, all of which are rarely touched on in the world of hardcore punk.

The Living End is a Hüsker Dü live album recorded at various venues in October 1987 but not released until 1994. It spans the band's entire recorded output, from "Data Control" off Land Speed Record, the band's debut, to a number of songs from the band's last studio album, Warehouse: Songs and Stories. There are also some unreleased tracks and a cover of the Ramones' "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker.

Hüsker Dü’s second full-length studio album and its first for SST Records. The album is a concept record about a boy who runs away from home to escape a difficult situation only to find the world outside is just as harsh. The album’s Turn on the News was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.

Hüsker Dü /ˈhʊskər ˈduː/ was an American rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1979. The band's continual members were guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist/vocalist Greg Norton, and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. Hüsker Dü first gained notability as a hardcore punk band, later crossing over into alternative rock. Mould and Hart were the principal songwriters for Hüsker Dü, with Hart's higher-pitched vocals and Mould's baritone taking the lead in alternating songs.

The Biggest Lie" as written by and Steven P. Smith. You think you've made it to the top because people know your name It's still the same Your daydreams aren't forever, better get your shit together For a new game. Back to your day job Back to your girlfriend Back to your hometown The biggest lie. Passing harsher judgement, but you brought it on yourself By being you Your trade respect for no sucess, you tried to be a hero But you end up nothing. The biggest lie (Back to your day job) The biggest lie (Back to your girlfriend) The biggest lie (Back to your hometown).
