Peace Of Mind by Claro Intelecto, released 17 February 2014 1. Peace Of Mind (Electrosoul) 2. Tone 3. Contact 4. Signifier Back in March 2003 Claro Intelecto announced his arrival in the electronic world with his Peace Of Mind EP on Ai Records. Now, a decade later, Delsin, the label on which he released his latest LP, is re-releasing it in all its glory. Across four perfectly formed tracks the EP proved Manchester’s Mark Stewart to have a fine grasp on techno, electro and dub, and that he was able to do his own unique things with each.

Overview (current section). Mark Stewart first made an appearance under his Claro Intelecto pseudonym in early 2003 - his remarkable Peace of Mind 12 fast becoming the most discussed dance floor debut for years and enjoying re-presses now heading for double figures. In 2005 he became a well-respected member of the Modern Love label family.

Back with his first album in over five years, Claro Intelecto talks his long hiatus, life as a father, and how his "Exhilarator" LP is pushing the limits. 20 November 2017 ·. 'Exhilarator' is out now! Delsin Records.

Claro Intelecto – known to the parents who bought him a first synth at age ten as Mark Stewart – is a wise old head when it comes to music production learnt from his piano tutor. Not bad for someone who, at the same time and having dropped out of art college, was working as a screen printer during his teens

Meanwhile his Second Blood EP and new album Reform Club, both recently released on Amsterdam’s Delsin Records, impress on both fronts, delivering kinetic dancefloor thrills and passages of deep introspection in equal measure. Claro Intelecto’s FACT mix is made up of three parts – a radio-style segment comprised of tracks played in full; a live mix from Berlin’s Panorama Bar; and a closing ambient section. It’s a treat for those of us who’ve been following Stewart’s sound with pleasure over the last decade, but it’s also a perfect and well-rounded introduction to newcomers or the less familiar.

Bite The Hand by Claro Intelecto on Delsin Records. Blank CC by Claro Intelecto on Delsin. Pumping and typically trance-influenced techno from Schacke, the Danish man of the moment, taken from an equally creative EP by Cristian Marras.

They have previously come on Boomkat's boutique label Modern Love, whilst his recent Second Blood EP marked a Delsin debut.

A very nice EP indeed covering a wide spectrum of influences ... and for a wide audience as well.Chicago is an "out of time/timeless" track, airy, melodic and with an early LFO taste so to speak.Section (Part 2) sounds like a typical Detroit electro track. The third track is not of interest to me. It is minimal and cannot generate the same level of exitation the others deliver.Senti is for me the best track here, just to show how diverse this EP can be and how many people can find something owesome in it. Senti has a heavy and groovy bassline, not too slow, not too fast, just the good pace. A very nice and efficient deep minimal/deep house track that will put you in a good mood; on a dancefloor or everywhere else!Definitely an EP worth having.

Stunning release from Claro. I bought it for the mellow analoguey sound of the A1 but ended up really getting off the A2 as well. The A2 sounds like Knee-Cam version 2.0 slowed down a bit. No doubt techno viking would be throwing shapes and knocking people's heads around

It is worth owning this EP for the title track alone. Simple chords and one heavy bass drum sound lends 'Chicago' a distant, slightly haunted atmosphere almost as if it had originated from an abyss. Then a couple of minutes in this robotic bass line from the depths creeps in which, if you hear it loud enough, should probably stop you in your tracks. Menacing, stark and industrial but with enough warmth to engage in. House, Techno, Electro people should all find something oustanding about this EP since it is a perfect marriage of Chicago, Detroit and Berlin influences but the results are something strangely unique. A perfect definition of machine soul and one seriously overlooked talent.
