13 March 2017 ·. The war is ove. T Is done! With sadness in our hearts, we hereby inform you that we have decided to pull the plug on Hail of Bullets. The patient had been suffering from illness for a few years already. We thought we had cut out the disease a few years ago, but apparently the tumor was more widespread than we had expected. There are no immediate plans to resurrect the corps. .

Crossfire have recorded eight more tracks, and together with the afore mentioned EP tracks, it has resulted in this shiny platter titled "Hail Of Bullets". For the new recordings on this album Thomas and Rolf are joined by Jesper Jonsson on bass. Jesper started out with the "Rockin' Bandits" when he was only 15 years of age, he joined Snakebite in 2001 and also played with Wild Bob Burgos' Houserockers

HAIL OF BULLETS were formed at the end of 2006/early 2007 when guitarist Stephan Gebédi approached singer Martin van Drunen, drummer Ed Warby, bass player Theo van Eekelen and guitarist Paul Baayens with the idea to join forces in an old school death metal band. The band members already knew each other from their previous and present bands like Pestilence, Gorefest, Asphyx, Thanatos and Houwitser. Metal Blade Records didn’t hesitate to sign the band and HAIL OF BULLETS’ debut album . f Frost And War’ was released in May 2008. Apart from the thundering drums, scorching guitars and tormented vocals, the lyrical concept about the battles at the Eastern front during World War II made the album’s impact even bigger. The reactions of the press and fans were amazing and the band played countless festival dates and club shows all over Europe.
