Spice Crackers is the fifth studio album from German synthpop group Camouflage, released in September 11, 1995 by BMG. The band's new contract with BMG Germany provided them with full creative freedom, allowing the two to utilise works originally intended for their failed opera project and make them much more experimental, and sometimes even inspired by science fiction films. In March 1995 the band performed in Stuttgart and debuted the new material.

By the time of Spice Crackers' 1995 release, Camouflage found themselves dealing not only with changing times on the part of their key inspirations - Depeche Mode having long since grappled with rock motifs on albums like Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion - but with the shift from electronic pop being pop, to being a quieter concern amid the. aboveground explosion of techno in Europe throughout that decade.

Spice Crackers was a great album that most Camouflage or EDM fans missed out on due to its rarity. Now you not only get a second chance to get this great music, but it's a better chance. This is a re-release of a 1995 Album by Camouflage. I listened to the CD for the first time tonight.
