Thomas "Mera" Gartz, born 1944, was best known as the drummer in Swedish progg group Trӓd, Grӓs och Stenar (also known as Pӓrson Sound, Harvester or International Harvester), but had played drums with Swedish psychedelic group Mecki Mark Men for several years beforehand. Upon the demise of Träd, Gräs och Stenar, Gartz took no break. He continued in his roles as a painter and self-described philosopher, and kept on recording with other groups.

1970 saw the release of their self-titled debut Träd, Gräs & Stenar, sometimes called "the green album", which included cover versions of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" and The Rolling Stones' hit song "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" Träd, Gräs & Stenar, then consisting o. .
