Blowing Loefah's usual 'less is more' minimalisms out of the water, 'System' is a slo-mo electro monster - chest crushing 808 booms, fuzzing sub-bass and futuristic reverb-soaked percussion. This half-step horror show owes more to 'Mothership'-era Ed Rush than the more reggae-infused dubstep sound currently doing the rounds.

Digital Mystikz - "Molten". The latest 10" from Loefah and Digital Mystikz for Bristol's Tectonic records. Loefah's 'system' is possibly his catchiest rhythm yet, sweeping electro riffs and zipped-up halfstep swagger fully in place. The overt electro influence of 'System' heralds a healthy direction for dubstep, and will make even more sense when the four four exterminator called "left leg out" drops on Dmz 10 imminently. Mala and Coki offer 'Molten', spooked synths and a lashing of subbass in fine DMZ tradition. Both tunes are tried and tested classics, first heard.

Digital Mystikz are a dubstep production duo (consisting of Mala and Coki – when the two started making music together as teenagers they were known as Malibu and Coke) from the South London suburb of Norwood. Along with Loefah and SGT Pokes, who make up the group ASBO (All Soundbwoy Out), they operate the DMZ record label and host the influential bimonthly nightclub DMZ, held at the Mass club complex in Brixton, London.
