Larry Boone (born June 7, 1956 in Cooper City, Florida) is an American country music artist. Between 1985 and 1993, Boone recorded five major label studio albums. His highest-charting single, "Don't Give Candy to a Stranger", reached in 1988. Boone has also co-written several singles for other country music artists, including a single for Kathy Mattea, and Top Ten hits for Don Williams, Tracy Lawrence, Rick Trevino and Lonestar.

Larry Sparks expertly recasts several of Hank Williams' finest songs as bluegrass numbers in Sings Hank Williams, one of the finest records he ever released. Of special interest is the supporting band, which features a terrific performance from a young mandolinist named Ricky Skaggs.
