Blaze of Glory is Jon Bon Jovi's debut solo studio album, released in 1990. It includes songs from and inspired by the movie Young Guns II. Emilio Estevez asked for Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" as the theme song for his upcoming Billy the Kid sequel, but Jon Bon Jovi ended up composing an all-new theme song for the film's soundtrack instead. The album featured guests such as Elton John, Little Richard, and Jeff Beck. Blaze of Glory was awarded a Golden Globe

Blaze of Glory is a 1989 album by English rock and roll singer Joe Jackson. Jackson has stated that the album and the songs themselves were an examination of his generation as the 1980s were ending, ranging from the optimism of the 1950s ("Tomorrow's World") to the politics of terrorism ("Rant and Rave") and the Cold War ("Evil Empire"), to yuppies ("Discipline") and rockers who are well past their prime ("Nineteen Forever") went out in a blaze . .The album is structured in two-halves: the first half through "Blaze of Glory" is presented without breaks, with the coda of one song becoming the intro to the next.

Acoustic Bass – Anthony Cox. 6:02. Saxophone – Chris Hunter, Steve Elson (tracks: A2, A3, B1, B5). Saxophone, Flute – Tony Aiello.

A loose concept album about a second-generation rock & roller struggling to come to terms with maturity, Blaze of Glory holds together fairly well, as the story takes a backseat to individual songs. While that does mean that the concept is never fleshed out, the approach results in a handful of brisk, stylish pop songs - including "Nineteen Forever" and "Down to London" - that are more compelling than the story itself.
