There was power and tune and attitude and a real meaty loudness which just made me want to turn everything up. This was a punk band who really seemed to understand melody and could actually carry a quite complex tune. Marry this to the amusing earthy lyrics and the recipe was there for a fine first album, which more than lived up to the promise of the first single (Megalomania).
