A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film of the same name. The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing.

The Beatles or "The White album" as it became better known was released on 22nd November, 1968 on the fifth anniversary of their second album, With The Beatles. A total of 34 new tracks were released in 1968 and 30 were contained on this one double-LP. Despite the fact that it was a double album it entered the UK chart at no. 1 and occupied that position for eight of the 22 weeks it spent in the chart. The US situation was even more impressive with a nine week stay in the top spot during an initial chart run of 65 weeks. A recording session for "The Beatles" (White Album). Sgt Pepper did its thing, it was the album of the decade - of the century maybe. It was very innovative.

The opening track on the White Album, Back In The USSR was written by Paul McCartney and inspired by Chuck Berry's Back In The USA and the Beach Boys' California Girls. The song was intended by McCartney to be a parody of Chuck Berry's 1959 hit. It's tongue in cheek. Who plays the solo? Do you think it is george? It sounds like paul?

The Beatles spent five agonizing months making the White Album, often splitting up to work in separate studios. The fighting got so ugly Ringo quit for a week. In many ways, the Esher demos are the last recorded moment of the Beatles as a band. Child of Nature and Mother Nature’s Son have virtually nothing do with nature – but much to do with each other, and the dream that everything they’ve broken can be healed. On the Esher demos, that bond of friendship is still holding the Beatles together. They would never sound as close again. In This Article: The Beatles, The White Album, White Album.

A convicted debater could plausibly make the case that the Beatles aren’t the best rock band ever. What no one could reasonably argue, however, is that any other rock band has had its existence more closely dissected and analyzed. There are books - thick ones - devoted to tracking each day in the band’s brief existence, and the band’s recording archives have been almost as exhaustively picked over.

It was 50 years ago today: The Beatles released Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, an album of profound significance in the arc of modern music. On the most basic level, this was yet another batch of amazing Beatles songs in a career full of them, but its impact on music history is much deeper than that. Sgt. Pepper solidified the LP as not just a collection of singles and filler but a full-length creative statement. It popularized concept albums in the mass consciousness. It redefined the possibilities for rock-star metamorphosis.
