Iron Fist" is a song by the British heavy metal band Motörhead. It was released as a single in 1982, in 7" pressings in blue, black and translucent red vinyl. The title track on the single is covered with (B-side's) "Remember Me, I'm Gone", which appears on CD re-issues of the Iron Fist album. In Spain, the title track was put on the B-side of "Go to Hell" and was issued with a picture sleeve of the band dressed as warriors in skull masks.

The final album of the ‘classic’ lineup of Motörhead (consisting of Lemmy, Eddie Clarke and Phil Taylor). It was their follow-up to the live album No Sleep ‘til Hammersmith, which had reached in the UK charts the year before. Clarke had produced the album with little experience in the field, which might explain the rough feel of the songs. The Iron Fist album was bad, inferior to anything else we’ve ever done. There are at least three songs on there that were completely unfinished  . I swear on my mother’s grave, I didn’t want to produce Iron Fist! I’d produced the first Tank album and producers all wanted 10 or 20 grand – from a band that were on two hundred quid a week. Why should we pay some cunt that? I didn’t want to play and produce.

Iron Fist is a fine Motörhead album, and there's not much at all to complain about here. As usual, the performance is ferocious and there several standout songs ("Iron Fist," "Heart of Stone," "Speedfreak," " Grind You Down") amid a strong selection overall. If Iron Fist falls a little short of its four-star predecessors, it's still in a class with those albums, at least relative to what would follow in the years to come.
