Where their first album displayed a diversity of sound, How To Be a Human Being expands from eccentric instrumental choices to the eccentricities of life itself. Many songs conjure unique characters and place them in their element. There’s the basement-dwelling loner in Life Itself, the loveably lazy stoner girlfriend in Season 2 Episode 3, and the murderous wife in Mama’s Gun.

It's still classic Glass Animals but with amazing new beats. If you liked Zaba you will like How To Be A Human Being. This is the kind of music you can listen to studying or driving, or just chilling. It somehow gets me pumped and mellows me out at the same time. They've done it again. I have now listened to the whole album. Their sound at the core is the same, but much more developed. They've branched out in style with a number of the songs. Zaba was very smooth and consistent, and How To Be A Human Being can be raw at times and has a very distinct sound
