Denki Groove are a successful electronica band from Japan. The group formed in 1989, immediately after the split of the cult avant-garde electropop group, Zin-Say, which core members Takkyu Ishino and Pierre Taki were members of. The group initially followed a unique blend of quirky electro and high-paced hip hop, but, by 1994, the group started to cover various electronic grounds, which would give them a fair amount of critical acclaim.
